The Jezabels

Powerful. Evocative. Thrilling. After teasing us for years, Sydney sensations The Jezabels finally delivered their debut album ‘Prisoner’ late last year and made good on the tantalizing promise of three excellent EPs.

Led by frontwoman and force-of-nature Hayley Mary, the band’s triumphant show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre a month later saw them riding the crest of critical acclaim, perfectly capturing their taut, visceral brand of rock. Aided and abetted by a new, dramatic stageshow, the four-piece – Mary, guitarist Samuel Lockwood, keyboardist Heather Shannon and drummer Nik Kaloper – surged through fan favourites like ‘Endless Summer’, ‘Mace Spray’ and ‘Hurt Me’, displaying why they’ve become a global force in their own right.

So turn the lights off, crank it up and prepare to get lost in The Jezabels, live in concert…
